This is the well known Angkor Wat. Some of Tomb Raider movie scene were filmed here. It is such a big place. We can take the whole day walking Angkor Wat but We had not enough time. And already so worn out. It started drizzling when we walked across the bridge. so gloomy sky appeared in my photo. inside there are plenty of carving which had millions of ancient stories and myth behind every carving. Our driver chumran enjoyed telling us every stories he knew, I was fascinated by how good his memories are.
The most charming boy I met in Cambodia, I think he will grow up to be a handsome man. Hope he will met a beautiful girl in future. They are so hands on over there, so young and he is fixing his own bicycle. I guess boys in Singapore only knows how to whine.
This girl is so shy when we were taking photo of her, she almost cried. The minute we walked away i saw her smiling looking at the candy we gave her.
We went around taking photo of scenery and the people of cambodia. Our friends brought candy to give to the kids. They were so happy getting candy from us.
The cambodian are such honest people, they dont collect deposit from their customer. They are so kind and think that nobody will cheat their money. Our driver didnt take any deposit from us till the last day of our trip, then we paid him. Overall I felt its a very safe place to be.
I actually like their straw hat. very traditional looking. the hot is so hot it can scorch the face. better to protect the face with hat. I guess they dont use sun block.
The woman in the boat said she is a single mother with 2 kids, and asked us to buy a bunch of banana from her for USD$1. Hearing such sad story, who would reject a single mother. Our friend Weiyang bought the banana from the woman and gave to sailor boy.

This boy drives a boat. he looks like he is around 10 years old. but already driving a boat. Isnt he talented.

More and more female are successful in their career. Which is good and bad. Good thing is they are very independant financially, no longer need a man to survive. The bad part is from my experience and others' experiences, female make a lousy superior.
Though on rare cases there may be super nice female superior,I met one super good superior before 8 years ago, only one, she is a really kind woman, who is so kind that she emit aura of kindness and has a invisible halo above her head.
But one of the worst experience I had at work happened with a female boss. Female boss are fussy, intruding, controlling and like to beat around the bush in their conversation. Some like to have hidden 'meaning' behind their words.
Even female colleague may be hard to get along with, gotta pull up my sensors antannae for alot of hidden 'meanings'. My two sisters both had very bad experience with female superior, one have a peeping tom boss who peep at her computer screen every second and treat her like her partime maid. another one have a perfectionist female mentor who like everything to be done in her way (even though her way may not be better), even edit her phone conversation basic words, and screened through her every outgoing and incoming emails. Terrible~ Probably cant quit their natural instinct of being a mother hen so all of them cant help hovering behind all their subordinates and squeak at them. "do this, do that."
Thinking of those bad experience with all the female co workers and bosses, make me super disgusted. Miss my males designer ex colleagues, they are humourous, straight forward, easy going and teasable. Never had one hidden motive when they are talking to you.
Quarantine all the evil female bosses! And give them intensive training on How to be a good boss.

I think office should set a rules that colleagues must be friendly to each other and response when someone greets you. Fine them each person $10 for being rude each time. A punishment for all stingy and unfriendly aunties in my office.
Few days ago I met my colleague in the lift. I said Hi, She just looks at me blankly as if I said alien language. I was so surprised! I internally screamed "Didnt you heaaarr me?!"
Reminded me of my 1st day of work over here, I walk into my office and said "good morning" happily to the office full of colleagues, they turned up their head and looked at me and return their focus to the computer. (-_-)||| No wonder the french expatriate who just started working in our office descrided our singapore office as cold and unfriendly, he told to a china colleague. and ya words spread now I know how he felt about our office. There were a few times when he walked into the office and said "good morning" and nobody response haha! Someday he may realise this is the only office that is so unfriendly.
Even the bangladesh sweeper at my block says "good morning" to me every day. At first I was surprise and due to my bad impression for banglah, I never responsed for the first time. Later, I realised "doesnt that make me like my unfriendly stuck up colleagues if I didnt response". so I started to say "Good Morning" back to the bangladesh. It indeed brighten up the morning a little.
Thinking back to those days in my old company, everybody greet "good morning" the first thing they reach office. And we said bye whenever we leave the office at 6pm. I missed those days. I cant wait to leave this 鬼地方!
